Business as we know it is over. The new business landscape supports mission purpose-driven companies with nonprofits leading the way. Because the purpose economy is in full effect and it is a road map to create a better future today. Think about it, we’re learning to share again, everything from cars (Uber & Lyft), to extra rooms in our homes (Airbnb), that’s what nonprofits are all about, sharing and connecting people. A series of shifts are happening in our economy, a record number of folks are trading in conventional career paths to launch nonprofits that are rooted in local communities.

If you’ve ever thought about starting a business or running your own nonprofit instead? With Grant Funding from both public and private sources, you can actually do both and become a Social Entrepreneur. This is the fastest growing sector of the Multi-Billion Dollar start-up community.

Speakers include founder and Grant writing expert Dr. Stacee Lang. She has helped clients obtain more than $157 million in funding from government agencies and private foundations including for non-profit organizations, research institutions, and small businesses from Federal agencies and departments such as the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the National Institute of Health (NIH), the Department of Defense (DOD), and the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Lang’s expertise is in building fundraising department infrastructures as well as developing solicitation strategies for donors across multiple giving channels.
